Why we connect your software to AI, not just AI to software

Much work happens between systems. A shared context layer can support those handovers, provided the boundaries of each source and action remain clear.

Individual systems are connected to a central AI layer via connections

The task runs across system boundaries

A follow-up request can ask for context from CRM, a meeting report and a document. Each system contains part of the story. An AI function within one tool therefore does not automatically see the complete work question.

First map the transfer: where does someone look for information, what is copied and at what point does a decision arise? That makes it clear which connection is useful.

Bringing context together while maintaining boundaries

Bringing software to the AI means connecting allowed resources to a central management layer via available connectors or APIs. It doesn't mean that existing software should disappear.

A reading right is not a writing right. Also, a working connector does not automatically allow all data to be used for any purpose. Capture source, purpose, owner and authorized action separately.

What context do you need to do this?

A task sometimes requires information from multiple existing tools. System boundaries and access rights remain valid.

  1. Define required context

Just ask for the data that this task needs.

    Within example mandate
  2. Describe System Boundaries

Determine which source is read and where a proposal is prepared.

    Within example mandate
  3. Coordination of action

Valide the write capacity and permission per system.

    Approval required

May I prepare this proposal? First, look at the steps and boundaries.

Status: proposal ready

Example interaction · no live business data or external execution.

Coordination requires visible conditions

A proposal can only become enforceable when the necessary context is available and sufficiently up-to-date, and in the event of a failure to link or lack of right, this restriction must remain visible.

Therefore, distinguish between getting information, preparing a proposal and implementing an external change. The AI can coordinate steps; the mandate and the technical possibilities determine where that coordination stops.

Start with the smallest meaningful connection

Choose one task, name the required resources and key or an existing module that supports the task. Then check the connector, permissions and error handling before expanding the scope.

Where an appropriate Portal module is available, the organisation can start operating immediately. A broader architectural question or an unsupported domain first requires further analysis.

Frequently asked questions

Is any integration directly available?

No. Availability, equipment and supported actions are validated per system.

What if one source is missing?

Make the missing context visible. Allow critical execution to wait if the information is needed to act responsibly.

Translate this into your own work question.

See the appropriate module or discuss which step will help your organisation.
